1. Laurillard argues that the way evaulation is done is somewhat predictable and thus the way that such findings are extracted from research needs to become more meaningful. This paper outlines how technologies may improve learning. This is done by looking at existing evidence from literature, which indicate how good learning programs may be developed successfully.
2. To make an evaluation on how learning technologies improve learning, would necessiate understanding (maybe through research) if there has been or will be a positive change in the learning experience of a set of students. Such a positive change a.k.a. improvement will need to be measured by analysing the pre and post adoption environment. This may be done by focusing on students’ attainment, motivation, preceptions, knowledge, skills , approach to similar activities etc.
