As a brainteaser for this cool seminar in which NLX was introduced to educators, all participants were given a number of lego blocks. From these blocks we had to build a duck in just one minute. It was interesting how each participant had his own way of building the ‘duck’.
This relates with what was discussed in block 2, that each learner has his own way of interpreting a posed task.
Different answers should not be treated as right or wrong. This would happen in a traditional classroom. On the other hand in a particpatory activity, the learning facilitator aka the teacher, should help each student to expand his creativity and skills.
